RED BANK, NJ: The YMCA of Greater Monmouth County, the best organization on the planet, is the glue that holds our community together in so many ways.
“It's incredible to think we've been navigating through the COVID-19 pandemic for an entire year now. I don't think we could have imagined how different our YMCA would become, expanding support for so many critical needs like COVID testing, vaccinations, food security and mental health services while continuing to deliver our core wellness programs, child care, camp and family support,” said Laurie Goganzer, President & CEO
In these trying times, the YMCA Togetherhood® program will hold community food drives to benefit their food bank partners like Lunch Break, Old Bridge Food Pantry, Atlantic Highlands United Methodist Church Food Pantry, and Freehold Food Safety.
The Y will also be collecting non-perishable food and toiletries through the month, and donations can be placed in the lobby collection bins at their Freehold, Old Bridge and Red Bank Family YMCA's.
