WEST GOSHEN—The West Goshen “Can Do ” Spring Food Drive will be collecting non-perishable food items from March 21 to April 11. It is an opportunity for residents to help others facing food insecurity right here in Chester County.
“The inaugural food drive demonstrated the abundant generosity of our community helping those in vital need” says David Sommers, Drive Coordinator.
Nearly 400 pounds of canned goods was collected in the Thanksgiving Food Drive back in November. Once again, all donations from this drive benefit the West Chester Food Cupboard. Monetary donations are accepted and used directly to purchase non-perishables. The collection sites for the Spring drive are Pica’s Restaurant, 1233 West Chester Pike; ShopRite of West Chester, 1115 West Chester Pike; and the Keller Williams Office located at 300 Willowbrook Lane, West Chester.
Additionally, Ingrid “The Most Famous Dog in Chester County” will be available to meet and greet and for photos at the ShopRite from Monday through Thursday from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.
