When my partner accidentally left burnt food on our brand-new baking sheet, I was horrified. It was the first time we had used Caraway's baking sheet, which was given to me by the brand, and he had forgotten it in the oven, an easy mistake after a long day of work and over-excitement to eat our favorite homemade tacos. Charred chickpeas and indistinguishable crisped veggies sat undisturbed for nearly two weeks during a massive heat wave; part of me thought I'd have to throw the pan away, while another worried there would be stubborn brown stains on its surface for the rest of its lifetime.

I'm happy to report neither of these things was true. The burned crumbs of my long-forgotten dinners practically fell off the pan as I put it in the sink. I didn't even need to soak it in dish soap and hot water for the blackened mess to remove itself. The Caraway sheet pan cleaned up in all of a minute and looked like new after a quick hand-wash. My jaw-dropped — and so did my partners. Although, he was perhaps grateful he hadn't accidentally ruined our brand-new cookware.

Over 1,7000 shoppers rated the Caraway Baking sheet five stars, and I have to agree with every single one of them. I have had terrible experiences with nonstick pans in the past. My last set easily stained, burned, and warped after just a few uses. The handle even fell off once, which is when I found Caraway.

Made from aluminum — one of the best materials for bakeware — these pans are sturdy and reliable. Not only are they heavier than my old pans, which used to pop in the oven and scare the living daylights out of me, but so far I haven't lost any chickpeas to the pit of despair (AKA the hole in the bottom of my oven) thanks to the rimmed design. I've made roasted veggies, toasted Trader Joe's naan, and baked homemade cookies, and not a single one has stuck to the bottom of the pan.

The baking set includes two oven-ready pans in sizes Large (18 inches by 13 inches) and Medium (15 inches by 10 inches) and features a slick ceramic-coated interior. Plus, it comes in seven stunning colors — I chose blue slate, but would buy the green sage set in a heartbeat. The pans are oven-safe up to 550 degrees Fahrenheit and even come with stainless steel handles, a perk I didn't know I was missing until I tried these specific pans.

From cookies to future non-burned roasted chickpeas, I can't wait to use my Caraway baking sheets for years to come, especially since cleanup is so easy. No more dreading the post-cooking dishes. Hurray!
