Wine & Food Week is back in The Woodlands for its 18th year. The event series, which runs from June 6 to 12, includes a rosé and sweet wine soirée, a tasting dedicated to wines around the world, a culinary competition and more. In addition to all of the events scheduled, Wine & Food Week is also paying tribute to the late Cleverley Stone and inducting her into the organization’s Hall of Fame. Stone’s organization, Houston Restaurant Weeks (now overseen by her daughter, Katie) is one of Houston’s most popular annual fundraisers for the Houston Food Bank.
This year, the lineup of Houston chefs and restaurateurs includes, among others, Alex Au-yeung of Phat Eatery and Yelo, Paul Friedman of The Chef’s Table, Austin Simmons of TRIS, Brandon Silva (formerly of Wooster’s Garden) and Jio Dingayan, pastry chef of the soon-to-open Money Cat. The event will also host representatives from wineries and stores from around the world.
Though the week technically runs June 6 through 12, public events begin on Tuesday, June 7. Each requires a separate ticket, which can be purchased online via the associated event page.
