INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The Super Bowl is just over a week away, which means it’s time to start planning food menus.
Becky Spaulding and Jedidiah Herrmann from Kroger joined Daybreak on Saturday to discuss this year’s top food trends.

News 8’s Tara Hastings and Hana Mordoh also made some of their favorite dips during the show. The recipe for the pretzel beer/cheese dip is as follows:
Ingredients:
- 1 block cream cheese
- 1 package shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 container sour cream
- 1 package of premixed Italian dressing
- 1 cup of light beer
Instructions
- Allow cream cheese to get to room temperature or put in microwave for 30 seconds to soften
- Add sour cream and mix
- Add Italian dressing mix and stir
- Add a little beer, stir, add a little more and stir. continue to add a little and stir
- Add shredded cheddar cheese, stir
- Refrigerate a few hours before serving
